Roberto Arenas-Guzmán is Head of the Mycology Section of Dr. Manuel Gea González General Hospital. and a senior research fellow from the Instituto Nacional de Salud, México. He took a higher course in mycology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France and was president of the Colegio Ibero Latino Americano de Dermatología. He is a Full Member of the Academia Nacional de Medicina, México and former President of the Academia Mexicana de Dermatología. Arenas-Guzmán is also author of several books and has more than 600 publications.
