*Michael Alldritt is a Senior Analyst with over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience across the telecommunications, rail, and electrical infrastructure sectors in Australia. He holds a PhD from the University of Technology Sydney, where his research focused on developing acoustic communication channels using software-defined radio (SDR) in complex environments. His extensive career includes technical leadership roles at Sydney Trains, Metro Trains Sydney, and Siemens Mobility, with expertise in signaling, RAMS engineering, and mission-critical radio networks. A member of the IRSE and IET, Michael combines deep technical skills with formal qualifications in electrical engineering and railway signaling.
*Robin Braun is a Life Senior Member of the IEEE and Emeritus Professor at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). He received his B.Sc.(Hons.) from Brighton University (1980), followed by M.Sc.(Eng.) and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Cape Town (1982, 1986). After a decade in industry with Philips and Plessey designing precision electronics, he began his academic career in 1986. Joining UTS in 1998, he held the Chair of Telecommunications Engineering and is now an Honorary Professor. His expertise spans network protocols and the management of complex next-generation networks. He is a founding member of the ANZSDN and remains highly active in Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
