An ardent environmentalist at heart, I'm pursuing my research in the field of biopolymer composites. My primary aim is to develop eco-friendly plastic alternatives for food packaging and biomedical applications. While doing my Master’s Degree, I was selected for DAAD scholarship research project in TU Chemnitz, Germany. During my further research work in Paris, I came across the vast realm of green materials for sustainable development. Since then, I have focused my research and social activities on minimalism and less-waste lifestyle, thereby creating awareness on ‘prevention’ and ‘cure’ strategies for a green future, both by reducing our carbon and plastic footprints, and through smart waste management practices.
