He is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering and Technologies at Escola Superior de Tecnologia de Setúbal, Polytechnic Institute of Setubal, Portugal, in the Mechanical Engineering Department in the Technology and Industrial Organization section. His research focuses on topics of maintenance, technical consulting, and industrial energy efficiency, more precisely on the correct methodology to achieve it.
