Ruqiang Yan is a professor with Xi'an Jiaotong University in Xi'an, China. His research interests include data analytics, artificial intelligence, energy-efficient sensing and sensor networks for monitoring, diagnosis and prognosis of large-scale, complex and dynamical systems. He received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Massachusetts, USA, in 2007. Dr. Yan is currently serving as editor-in-chief of IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
