Prof. Dr. Sahin Bozok is Professor and Head of Cardiovascular Surgery at Izmir Bakircay University Faculty of Medicine, Türkiye. He graduated from Dokuz Eylul University in 1998 and completed cardiovascular surgery training in 2005. He became Assistant Professor in 2009, Associate Professor in 2013, and Professor in 2018. He served as Vice Dean and then Dean of Izmir Bakircay University Faculty of Medicine (2024–2025), and as Founding Vice Dean of Bahcesehir University's Faculty of Medicine in Batumi, Georgia. He was a board member of the National Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society for two years and chairs the Peripheral Arterial Diseases and Perfusion Working Groups of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery. He received Doctor of the Year awards in Türkiye (2014) and Ajara, Georgia (2016). His expertise includes coronary bypass, valve surgery, aortic repair, peripheral vascular and endovascular surgery, and venous disease. He has published 115 scientific articles, presented 201 conference papers, and authored eight book chapters. He is Editor-in-Chief of Cardiovascular Surgery and Interventions and reviews for international journals.
