A licensed pharmacist and an assistant professor in the Department of Natural Products and Alternative Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, King Abdulaziz University, Saudi Arabia. I obtained my PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Strathclyde, UK. My research interests include medicinal plants, phytochemistry, drug discovery, and chromatography. I have authored 28 peer-reviewed publications (H index 13 according to Web of Science) and have extensive experience in academic teaching, research, and administrational approaches that best support a student's entire experience. My work focuses on the identification of bioactive natural products and their potential applications in the development of novel therapeutic agents.
