Sebastian Yu, also known as Wei-Tai Yu, is a dermatologist and associate professor at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital and Kaohsiung Medical University. He was awarded the World Congress of Dermatology Rising Star Scholarship, TSID/JSID Young Fellow Collegiality Award, Stellar Success Award, and Dermatologica Sinica Citation Award. His main academic interests are cutaneous immunologic diseases, such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. He is also investigating brain–skin communications to elucidate the mechanistic associations between skin diseases and neuropsychiatric diseases.
