Dr. Shuning Wang is a Professor of Microbiology at Shandong University. He received his B.S. degree and Ph.D. from Shandong University in 2000 and 2005, respectively, and conducted his postdoctoral research at Max Planck Institute for Terrestrial Microbiology from 2008 to 2010. He worked at University of Georgia as a visiting scholar during 2023-2025. His research focuses on microbial physiology and metabolism, with particular emphasis on the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying bioenergy production and CO₂ fixation by anaerobic bacteria, as well as oxidative degradation of pollutants.
