Dr. Smita Tukaram Kumbhar currently working as an Associate Professor and HOD, Dept. of Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs at Sanjivani College of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kopargaon, Maharashtra India. She is having a total of 16 years of Research and Academic experience at UG, PG and Ph.D level. She has a total of 04 Patents granted and 01 published. She is having 62 International & National Publications in reputed journals (out of which 15 are Scopus indexed), 03 books & 01 book chapter and 17 conference presentations (National and International) to her credit. Dr. Smita has received author metrics with H-Index of 11 (Google Scholar) and Scopus Index of 5. She is recipient of AICTE ‘MODROB-ASP’ research grants of RS. 11, 00,000/- and Two times received ‘Seed money for research grant’ from PAH Solapur University, Solapur of Rs. 1, 50,000/- in total. Dr. Smita has guided 10 M. Pharmacy students for dissertation work. Her key research areas include Pharmaceutical Analysis, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, Polymer Modification, Molecular Docking, and Solubility Enhancement Techniques.
