I am passionate about public health, environmental epidemiology, and health equity, with a strong focus on the health impacts of environmental pollution. My research explores how exposure to fine particulate matter (PM2.5) affects various health outcomes, including respiratory, hematological, and allergic conditions. I have worked with biomarkers such as urinary 1-hydroxypyrene (1-OHP) to assess internal exposure to air pollution and have investigated its associations with clinical symptoms and blood parameters. My work also includes exploring how pollution-related health risks differ across populations, including those with underlying conditions such as diabetes. I aim to contribute to evidence-based research and policies that support healthier environments and reduce the health burden of pollution, especially in vulnerable communities.
