Dr. Suman Basak is a Senior R&D Innovation Scientist at Dyson Technology Ltd. (UK), where he leads pioneering research in hair care, biomedical, and cosmetic innovations. He holds a PhD in nanomedicine and pharmaceutical drug delivery from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), conducted in collaboration with Lundbeck Pharma, Imperial College London, and the University of Copenhagen. His research spans targeted drug delivery, cardiovascular nanomedicine, cancer therapeutics, lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), and 3D/4D bioprinting for bioimaging and microelectronics. Dr. Basak began his academic journey at IIT Kharagpur and earned a master’s degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering through a joint program with TU Dresden, Germany. He was awarded a prestigious DAAD fellowship for a competitive research internship and received a Gold Medal for academic excellence. He has held key scientist positions at QustomDot BV (Belgium) and DTU Health Tech (Denmark), contributing to bioinspired nanotherapies and advanced analytical platforms.
