I received my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Korea University and subsequently worked as a short-term researcher at the University of Illinois. I am currently a full-time faculty member at Hankyong National University. My research focuses on the structural performance and safety evaluation of concrete structures, particularly the strengthening of fire-damaged concrete, post-fire residual performance, bond and flexural behavior of FRP-reinforced concrete members, and impact-resistant structural systems. Through experimental and analytical research, I aim to develop practical and resilient structural solutions that contribute to safer and more sustainable infrastructure.
