Taoufik Rohand obtained his M.Sc in Physical Science: Chemistry at the Faculty of Science of Abdelmalek Essaadi University in 1999 and a DEA degree in Science: Bio-Organic Chemistry, at the Faculty of science of the Free University of Brussels in 2002. He received his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Wim Dehaen at KU Leuven in 2007. He did three years of postdoctoral research in spectroscopy with Prof. Johan Hofkens from 2007 until 2010. He was appointed as Professor-Researcher at the University Cadi Ayyad Marrakech, Faculty Polydisciplinare of Safi in Morocco till september 2023. Then spent two years at the Faculty Multidisciplinary of Nador. Currently, he moved to the faculty of Sciences & Techniques at Abdelmalek Essaadi University as Professor-Researcher Habilité. His research interests focus on Spectroscopy and Catalysis. He has published more than 50 journal articles and communications and coordinates many interesting national and international projects.
