Dr. Thomas Over is a research hydrologist with the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Central Midwest Water Science Center. He completed his MS studies in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University, and PhD studies in the Geophysics Program/Hydrology at the University of Colorado-Boulder. Before his full-time appointment with the USGS, he taught Civil Engineering at Texas A&M University and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and was an Assistant Research Professor at Eastern Illinois University (EIU). His research interests include the prediction of streamflow in ungauged basins, assessment and attribution of hydrologic trends, hydrological measurement and modeling uncertainty, and scaling and disaggregation of precipitation and streamflow.
