Tiago Rodrigues is a senior researcher working at the Forest Fire Research Centre of ADAI (University of Coimbra, Portugal). He got his PhD in Health Sciences – branch of Biomedical sciences (2019), granted by the Faculty of Medicine - University of Coimbra. His areas of expertise include operational and safety actions and techniques on wildfire-related firefighting as well as health impacts from wildfires. He was also a forest watchman and firefighter for 8 and 10 years, respectively. Furthermore, he is the author and co-author of several scientific papers, oral communications, posters and abstracts in National and International peer-reviewed scientific journals and conferences. He is also highly experienced in National and European research projects.
