Graduated with double diploma from high schools in the USA (honor student) and Türkiye (the valedictorian). Studied at medical school in Türkiye, involved in scientific, medical and social studies/projects in the USA, Macedonia, Russia, Tunisia, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Germany, UK and France. Trained/worked at the Medipol Mega Hospitals Complex in Istanbul. Worked as a Visiting Doctor (Ob/Gyn Specialist) at HART Fertility Clinic in Texas, USA. Assigned to the earthquake-affected areas for community service where she performed hundreds of surgeries. Dr. Akcaoglu joined to Johns Hopkins Medicine in 2024.
