Vítor Leal has a BSc in Physics from the Technical University of Lisbon (1996), MSc in Mechanichal Enginnering from the University of Porto (1999) and PhD in Engineering Sciences from the University of Porto (2006). He has been researching and teaching since 1998, in the areas of heat transfer, thermodynamics, energy efficiency, sustainability, and energy planning. Vítor Leal is also an assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering University of Porto since 2007, teaching in BSc, MSc and PhD courses.
