Dr. Vasily E. Tarasov is a Leading Researcher at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Lomonosov Moscow State University. He is also an Associate Professor at the Applied Mathematics and Physics Department of the Moscow Aviation Institute. Dr. Tarasov obtained his M.S. Degree in Physics from the Physics Department of Moscow State University in 1988. He then went on to earn his Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics from the same department in 1994. In 2011, he received the Doktor Nauk in Theoretical Physics from the Physics Department of Moscow State University. Dr. Tarasov’s research interests include quantum mechanics, fractional dynamics, fractional calculus and applications, and open quantum systems.
