Master of Science in Tropical Agriculture, Campeche Campus of the Colegio de Postgraduados, México, graduated in 2007. Ph.D. in agro-environmental technology for sustainable agriculture from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, graduated in 2017. Experience in modeling studies of meteorological variables, sustainable use of water in crops and application of geographic information systems in agriculture. Current interests are focused on the estimation of irrigation requirements using soil water balance and evapotranspiration techniques. Member of the Mexico National Researchers System (SNI) level 1.
