Dr. Xianping Guan is currently an Associate Researcher at the Key Laboratory of Modern Agricultural Equipment and Technology, Ministry of Education, Jiangsu University (since 2010). He completed his PhD studies in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Southeast University in 2010. So far, he has participated in the invention of more than ten patents. He is mainly engaged in the research of agricultural machinery design, detection, and control technology, with specific directions: 1) R&D of orchard mowing robots; 2) R&D of orchard intelligent spraying machinery; 3) research on intelligent perception and obstacle avoidance technology of agricultural machinery; and 4) research on intelligent control technology of agricultural machinery.
