Dr Hao received his Ph.D. in analytical chemistry from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry) in January 2011. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the Technical University of Denmark, the University of Houston, the University of California, Merced, and the Institut Pasteur (France). He was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship by the Danish University Consortium and the Roux-Cantarini Scholarship at the Institut Pasteur in France. Dr. Hao joined the School of Public Health at Nanchang University as a Principal Investigator in 2019, and his current research focuses primarily on the early detection of infectious diseases, as well as the development and application of single-molecule technologies.
