Dr. Xiaohui Lin is a DOROTHY COFUND Fellow and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow at University College Dublin. She holds a PhD in Biosystems Engineering from UCD and has a background in food science and engineering. Her research focuses on food safety, microplastic contamination, sustainable agri-food systems, and the application of spectral imaging, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to solve One Health challenges. She has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and has experience in teaching, student mentoring, industry collaboration, and public engagement. Through her research and outreach, Dr. Lin aims to develop innovative, data-driven approaches for safer and more sustainable food systems.
