My PhD research focuses on evaluating and creating healthy indoor environments. Through field studies and laboratory experiments, I have developed expertise in using sensors to monitor indoor environmental parameters, constructing statistical and heat transfer models to assess their effects on human physiological responses (e.g., body temperature and brainwaves), and proposing environment control strategies informed by these indicators. I have also used Manikin to mimic the thermal state of humans in bedding systems before. Additionally, I have conducted research on optimizing building energy consumption, including developing a regulation method based on dynamic outdoor air temperatures to enhance energy efficiency.
