I’m Mr Yahya Faqir, holding a PhD degree from Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST), PR China, in Agriculture. I enrolled for the Masters and PhD at the same University, and my PhD research project was on chitosan microspheres (which is a polymeric material) as a carrier for controlled release of urea fertilizer. I have graduated in June month 2023. Recently, I have been working on the application of chitosan. My research direction is using biomaterials for sustainable farming, for example, chitosan as a control release fertilizer.
