Yagya Raj Pandeya was born in Banlek village, Dadeldhura, Nepal in 1988. He received the B.E. and M.E. degree in Computer Engineering from the Pokhara University of Nepal, in 2010 and 2013, respectively. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Jeonbuk National University, Jeonju, South Korea in Feb. 2021. From March 2022, he has been working as Assist. Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Kathmandu University, Kavre, Nepal. He was Head of the Department of Computer Engineering at NAST College in Dhangadhi, Nepal. He joins the Ministry of Home Affairs Nepal from 2015 to 2017. Dr. Yagya had a one-year post-doctoral research work experience at Fuzzy Logic and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Jeonbuk National University, Korea. His research interests includes music information retrieval, audio-video information fusion, human emotion analysis and animal sound behavior analysis.
