Yan Li received her Ph.D. degree in Beihang university under the supervision of Prof. Dongliang Tian. She now works as an special research assistant in the institute of mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Fan Song. Her scientific investigations concentrate on establishing precise control of substrate composition and morphological gradients using external field modulation, causing gradient wetting of the fluid on the surface and thereby directionally driving it.
