Biography
Prof. Dr. Yosra A. Soltan is a Professor of Animal Nutrition at the Faculty of Agriculture, Alexandria University, Egypt. She obtained her PhD in Animal Nutrition from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She has extensive research experience in ruminant nutrition, rumen microbiology, greenhouse gas mitigation, and nanotechnology-based functional feed additives. She has served as Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator in several nationally and internationally funded projects supported by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the Science and Technology Development Fund (STDF), and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT). Her research focuses on innovative strategies to enhance feed efficiency, animal productivity, milk and meat safety, and environmental sustainability. Prof. Soltan has supervised numerous MSc and PhD theses and published extensively in high-impact international journals and book chapters with leading publishers such as Springer and Elsevier. She has actively participated in and delivered invited lectures and keynote presentations at numerous international conferences and scientific workshops. She serves on the editorial boards of several international journals, in addition to acting as a reviewer for top-tier journals in animal and environmental sciences.
