Dr Zhi Zheng is currently a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Aeronautical and Aviation Engineering at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He received his BEng degree from the School of Remote Sensing and Information Engineering at Wuhan University in 2017. He completed his MPhil-PhD program at the same university in 2023. He was a Postdoc Postdoctoral Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) from September 2023 to April 2026, and a member of the CUHK’s Research Fellowship Scheme. Dr Zheng served as the technical leader and Vice Chief Engineer for the “CUHKSat-1” satellite project and is currently an academic editor for The Photogrammetric Record.
