I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geomatics Engineering/Photogrammetry Division at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University, Faculty of Engineering. I earned my master’s degree in 2011 and my Ph.D. in 2017 from Erciyes University, Institute of Science. My research areas include photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems, digital mapping, machine learning techniques, and heuristic optimization. Specifically, I focus on projects involving image processing, object detection, 3D scanning techniques, and machine learning-based analyses, as well as the application of modern surveying technologies and algorithmic approaches in the processing and interpretation of geospatial data. I have contributed to these fields through articles published in peer-reviewed national and international journals. My goal is to enhance the effective use of geospatial data through interdisciplinary collaborations and innovative approaches, thereby supporting the transformation of academic research for societal benefit. In addition to my academic duties, I actively engage in managing research projects, mentoring students, and fostering scientific collaborations.
