Graduated in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2008), Masters (2010) and Doctorate (2014) in Cellular and Molecular Biology from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. Completed his PhD training in Molecular Immunology at the University of Porto, Porto, Portugal, under the supervision of Dr. Céu Figueiredo. He served as Substitute Professor at the Institute of Biology, Department of Morphology, at the Federal University of Pelotas-RS, between 2016 and 2018. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Neurotoxins, Brain Institute, Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Porto Alegre, RS, Brazil
