I received my B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering in 2009 and 2015, respectively, and earned my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2024. My research lies at the intersection of radar signal processing, statistical detection theory, and machine learning for advanced sensing systems. My work focuses on developing next-generation radar technologies with applications in surveillance, autonomous systems, and healthcare. I have conducted research on AI-enhanced radar detection and estimation, digital and radar signal processing algorithms, UAV/drone detection and classification, and radar-based physiological and vital-sign monitoring. I am particularly interested in designing robust, data-driven radar processing pipelines, devising adaptive detection frameworks for low-SNR environments, and translating theoretical models into deployable radar prototypes for real-world scenarios. I aim to contribute to fundamental research while enabling innovative R&D solutions for emerging radar applications.
