Prof. Aijun Wang's research primarily focuses on the interaction mechanisms between plants and microorganisms. His purpose is to investigate the plant resistant genes and understand host resistance mechanisms; and to identify the effector proteins in plant pathogen to understand its pathogenic mechanism. He has published SCI papers in Plant Biotechnology Journal, Plant, Cell & Environment, RICE, Genomics, BMC Plant Biology, BMC genomics, Journal of Fungi, IJMS, and Frontiers in Microbiology.
