I am a Research Associate in environmental chemistry, studying the fate and transport of bioaccumulating pollutants such as PFAS, PAHs, PCBs and methylmercury. My work examines uptake mechanisms, bioaccumulation and impacts on ecosystems and human health. I also explore the role of green microalgae as indicators of contamination and potential tools for remediation.
