I am currently a Principal Scientist at Schrödinger, Inc., and I am passionate about integrating physics-based modeling and machine learning algorithms to accelerate materials design, particularly in the area of formulations. During my graduate studies working with Prof. Reid C. Van Lehn, I focused on integrating molecular dynamics simulation and machine learning tools to engineer new nanomaterials for biomedical applications and new solvent-mediated processes to improve the conversion of biomass to fuel. Since joining Schrödinger after UW-Madison in 2021, I have been involved in providing physics-informed machine learning solutions for industrial applications, designing tutorials to help customers leverage our machine learning tools, and creating new machine learning workflows to expand our scientific software capabilities for a wide range of materials applications. Outside of the office, I enjoy cooking/baking, creating useful tutorials/blogs, and gaming. I am a big believer that scientific boundaries are pushed the furthest through productive collaborations, so don’t hesitate to reach out and say hello!
