Dr. Alien Blanco Flores is a full time Professor and Researcher in the Mechanical Engineering Division, Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Tianguistenco. She has completed her doctoral studies at the Universidad Autónoma del estado de México and has received awards and recognition for her research activities, teaching graduate courses, and professional updating. She has recently directed projects in Materials Science and Engineering, all with granted funding, and has consolidated the infrastructure of the Materials Engineering and Technology Laboratory. She has published papers in several journals of international impact, and serves a role for societies and research projects. Her teaching disciplines include Metallic and Non-Metallic Materials Engineering, Research Workshop, Chemistry, Linear Algebra, Adsorption Surface Processes, and Advanced Materials for Engineering. Her interests include adsorption, mineral flotation, materials characterization techniques, nanomaterial synthesis, and drug delivery from smart materials.
