Ali Raza does research in Genetics and Genomics, Plant Metabolomics, Transcriptomics, Abiotic stresses, Crop Stress Physiology, Crop Genetics and Breeding, Molecular Biology, & Biotechnology. Mainly, his research interest includes deciphering abiotic (cold, heat, drought, salinity, heavy metals, etc.) responses & tolerance mechanisms in plants via modern biotechnological tools. He has published over 80 research/review articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has written over 20 book chapters on essential aspects of plant biotechnology and plant stress physiology which have been published and in the press by globally renowned publishers such as Springer, Elsevier, IntechOpen, and Wiley.
