Dr. Jayedi Aman is an Assistant Professor of Architectural Studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia and a faculty member of both the Immersive Visualization Lab (iLab) and the Fabrication Lab. His work is shaped by an interdisciplinary perspective that brings together architecture, urban planning, geography, and computer science to better understand and address challenges in the built environment. His research focuses on the relationship between urban form, sustainability, and human experience. By integrating geospatial intelligence, digital twin technology, machine learning, parametric energy simulation, and AR/VR, he develops computational frameworks to evaluate environmental performance and assess how urban features influence public sentiment. His aim is to support more responsive and informed urban planning and design practices. Dr. Aman values research that is not only technically innovative but also practically relevant. Much of his work is designed to benefit architects, planners, and policymakers through scalable tools and actionable insights. He has contributed to interdisciplinary projects supported by organizations such as the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL). He regularly participates in design computing conferences such as CAADRIA and eCAADe and is a member of the Institute of Architects Bangladesh (IAB), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Association of American Geographers (AAG), and the United
