PhD in Chemistry based on a double diploma as an International Joint Supervision agreement between the Federal University of Paraiba (João Pessoa, Brazil) and Université de Rennes 1 (Rennes, France). During this period, my research was based on the synthesis of transition metal oxides using the modified Pechini method, solvothermal synthesis, co-precipitation, and conventional solid-state reaction, besides depositing thin films by Chemical Solution Deposition (CSD) and Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD). I was a postdoctoral researcher in Inorganic Chemistry at the School of Chemistry at The University of Sydney (Sydney, Australia), working on the synthesis of oxides & oxynitrides and the determination of crystal/electronic structures using synchrotron and neutron radiation-based techniques. Currently, I am a Researcher in Inorganic Physical Chemistry at the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB, Brazil) and Materials Science at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN, Brazil) working on the preparation of different types of materials, focusing on metal tungstates, molibdates, tantalates, titanates and stannates for Photocatalysis, Adsorption, Biocides, and Supercapacitors Applications.
Main interests: synthesis of inorganic materials, nanomaterials (nanoparticles, nanocomposites, and thin films), crystallography, structural determination, synchrotron and neutrons-based techniques, photocatalysis, environmental remediation, water disinfection, energy production, etc
