Ana Catarina Tinoco, born in 1992 in Portugal, concluded the bachelor degree in Biochemistry in 2013, the master degree in Biophysics and Bionanosystems in 2015 and the doctorate in Bioengineering in 2020. All degrees were provided by the University of Minho. The research area of my doctorate was about the use of multifunctional proteins in hair cosmetics, developing new formulations for hair protection and coloring. The work developed during my research time resulted in 9 articles published in international journals from the speciality.
