He is a PhD student in the International Doctorate in Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICEA) program. His areas of expertise include modeling and validating BIM models, managing data according to the IFC schema to ensure data interoperability during a building's use and management phases, and creating HBIM models. He graduated with honors in Construction Engineering from the University of Florence, writing a thesis entitled “BIM in the Building Process: Seismic Vulnerability Analysis and FM in the Case Study of the G. Rodari Primary and Nursery School.”
From June 2020 to November 2022, he collaborated with the LiA-BIM laboratory at the Department of Architecture (DIDA) of the University of Florence, first on a research grant entitled "Information Management of Real Estate Assets Through the Use of BIM Methodologies and Tools" and later on a research grant entitled "Information Management of Data Produced During Construction Phases for the Implementation of an AIM Model for FM". During this time, he participated in a second-level master's program in BIM and collaborative processes, graduating with honors and writing a thesis entitled “BIM-to-Digital Twin Monitoring and Information Management of the Life Cycle of Existing Building Assets”. He has participated in national and international research projects, focusing primarily on digitally representing and enhancing information about architectural heritage for facility management purposes.
