Biography

PhD in Sciences in Ecology and Biotechnology and Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Biology, I was a postdoctoral researcher for 2 years, I am a researcher at the Instituto de Ecología, A.C. (Institute of Ecology, INECOL), member of the National System of Researchers of Mexico. I have published in international journals with high impact factors on biotechnology, ectomycorrhizal interactions, taxonomy of Mexican macrofungi, and studies on short-term evolution; I have also published two book chapters. I have collaborated on several research projects and presented scientific papers at academic forums (both domestic and international) on the taxonomy and diversity of Mexican macrofungi and on bioinformatics topics related to the genetic code. I have also contributed to universal access to knowledge through presentations at events and various publications aimed at disseminating science to the public. I participate in the academic training of undergraduate and doctoral students, as well as technical and professional staff through tutoring, thesis writing, and postdoctoral fellowship counseling. I maintain links with specialists from various national and international institutions and collaborate as a reviewer for various internationally circulated journals with impact factors. I also participate in the review of scientific projects at the invitation of the Mexican and Poland governments.
