Prof. Dr. Antonella Mattei has been an Associate Professor in Medical Statistics (Scientific-Disciplinary sector MED/01) since 2021 at the Department of Life, Health and Environmental Sciences of the University of L'Aquila, Italy. She graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of L'Aquila in 1990 and supported the national examination for the license to practice as a biologist in 1992. Furthermore, she earned the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology Methodology in 1995 and specialized in Medical Statistics in 1997. Prof. Dr. Antonella Mattei was a member of the Ethics Committee, as a biostatistician, AUSL Avezzano/Sulmona from 30 August 2006 to June 2010 and a member of the Ethics Committee, as a biostatistician, 1 ASL Avezzano-Sulmona, L'Aquila for the period 2010–2013. She is also a member of the Italian Society of Medical Statistics and Clinical Epidemiology (SISMEC) and the Italian Society of Hygiene, Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SITI). Prof. Dr. Antonella Mattei has published about 90 papers in the fields of epidemiology, preventive medicine and public health in national and international journals.
