Graduated with honors in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Bologna, he carries out his research at the Institute of Science and Technology for Ceramics (ISTEC) of the National Research Council of Italy (CNR). He is attending a Ph.D. program in Materials Science and Technology at the University of Parma. His research activity is focused on the development and characterization of ceramic materials with a layered structure having adsorbent and photocatalytic properties for the capture and photodegradation of organic pollutants present in wastewater and not easily removable with conventional purification treatments.
