Received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in automation and industrial informatics from Université Claude Bernard, France, and the Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, Spain. Since 2004, he has been with the Faculty of Mechanical Electrical Engineering, Universidad de Colima, where he is currently a Research Professor in informatics. His current research interests include real-time systems, distributed systems, cyber-physical-systems, and wireless sensor and actuators networks.
