Biography

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Helsinki, working at the interface of quantum computing and classical machine learning. My research focuses on quantum architecture search, including reinforcement learning- and tensor network–based methods, and on classical machine learning–assisted design of hardware-efficient quantum algorithms for near-term devices. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Calcutta, India, and my PhD from the Polish Academy of Sciences, Poland. My work has led to publications in leading machine learning and quantum computing venues, including NeurIPS, ICLR and AAAI, as well as specialized quantum technology journals. I also served as the reviewer of leading quantum journals and machine learning conference venues. In addition to research, I am actively involved in teaching and mentoring, supervising and supporting students working on machine learning and quantum computing to foster the next generation of researchers in the field
