Arthur C. Okafor is a dedicated Postdoctoral Microbiologist with teaching and research experience in the university and industrial settings. He earned a PhD in Food Microbiology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. He has held academic and research positions at Renaissance University, Edo State University, the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety, Novogenia GmbH, and Procomcure Biotech GmbH. In 2021, he was awarded the Ernst Mach Grant Worldwide. Arthur is a member of the Austrian Society for Molecular Biosciences and Biotechnology (ÖGMBT). He has several scientific publications to his credit. He works with Next-Generation Sequencing, comparative genomics, and mass spectrometry to tackle antimicrobial resistance and improve food safety. Arthur aims to contribute to the society as a valuable scientist in a leading institution, advancing scientific knowledge for the greatest benefit of Mankind.
