My research focuses on geoinformatics and mining geomatics, particularly the application of geospatial technologies in mining, environmental engineering, and civil engineering. Since the beginning of my academic career, I have been involved in the development and application of IT solutions for spatial data management, integration, modelling, and analysis. My research activities have included participation in two international projects and several research grants. I have authored or co-authored more than 100 scientific publications and contributed to over 80 commissioned projects for industry. My research interests include spatial databases, geographic information systems (GIS), spatial data integration, software engineering, 3D/4D spatial modelling, satellite interferometry (InSAR), and digital twins. Particular emphasis is placed on the monitoring, modelling, and prediction of mining-induced changes and their impacts on the natural and built environment.
