Augustine Nana Sekyi Appiah (Ph.D.) is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology, Poland. He specializes in the development and analysis of wear- and corrosion-resistant composite coatings using techniques like Powder Plasma Transferred Arc Welding (PPTAW) and laser cladding. Dr. Appiah's work also covers additive manufacturing and severe plastic deformation of metallic alloys.
