The Front Cover shows the wonderful structure of Pd(II) – thiacalix[4]arene complex, which, by coincidence, turned out to be very similar to the Wedding Palace of Kazan, Russia. Obtained amphiphilic N-heterocyclic carbene complexes on thiacalix[4]arene platform were found to be active catalysts in Suzuki–Miyaura coupling and hydrogenation made in water (or water-organic) media. When changing from pure organic media to water the obtained complexes demonstrated mixed micellar and metallocomplex catalytic effect. More information can be found in the Full Paper by V. A.
